In the early morning hours of October 12, 2024, a fatal encounter unfolded in the parking lot of a Safeway grocery store in Spokane Valley, Washington, leaving 53-year-old William McCreight, a Caucasian male, dead from multiple gunshot wounds. The incident, which was later deemed a homicide by the Spokane County Medical Examiner, initially appeared to be a straightforward drug deal gone wrong.
