On January 12, 2023, 39-year-old Joron Crawford was found deceased in his East 68th Street residence in Cleveland's South Broadway neighborhood. A friend discovered Crawford's body in a bedroom with multiple gunshot wounds and alerted authorities around 3:45 a.m.
The Cleveland Division of Police initiated a homicide investigation but, as of now, no suspects have been identified or arrested in connection with Crawford's death.
Detectives continue to seek information from the public to aid in solving the case.
Crawford's family has appealed to the community for assistance, urging anyone with relevant information to come forward. Individuals with details about the incident are encouraged to contact the Cleveland Division of Police or Crime Stoppers of Cuyahoga County. Tips can be provided anonymously, and cash rewards of up to $5,000 may be available for information leading to an arrest.
