Investigators say surveillance cameras captured the moments before and after the shooting. According to Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley, a 17-year-old suspect, Royal King, drove to the deli in a stolen car, walked inside, and briefly crossed paths with Jahari Stegall, age 17, at the doorway. After a short verbal exchange, the shooter turned and fired, striking Jahari Stegall, age 17, in the back of the head. The suspect ran back to the waiting vehicle and fled; authorities later recovered the car the same day.
