On February 4, 2023, 25-year-old Marvin Tyrone "Ty" Davis II and his roommate, Daniel Fitzgerald, were fatally shot in their residence on 15th Avenue in Middletown, Ohio. The two friends had returned home after spending the evening at a local bar on Elliott Drive. At approximately 3:27 a.m., both men suffered gunshot wounds.
