On February 27, 2023, 13-year-old Ethan Cain was tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident at his home in Ohio Township, near New Richmond, Ohio. The Clermont County Sheriff's Office reported that Ethan's mother, 46-year-old Theresa Cain, shot and killed him along with his father, 50-year-old Steven Cain, and his grandfather, 74-year-old William Felton, before turning the gun on herself.
