On March 6, 2023, in Plymouth, Ohio, authorities conducted a welfare check at the residence of Ann Jeannette Cobb, 82, and her husband, Charles Cobb, 83. Inside, both were found deceased from apparent gunshot wounds. Their bodies were transported to the Lucas County Medical Examiner's Office for autopsies.
The Plymouth Police Department, with assistance from the Huron County Prosecutor's Office and the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation, initiated an investigation. Chief Thomas Hintz stated there was no perceived threat to the public. Reports indicated a history of domestic violence between the couple.
Ann Jeannette Cobb was born on March 6, 1941, in Snowhill, North Carolina. She was previously married to Larry R. Harrison and later to Charles Cobb. She worked for HSI in Wintersville, North Carolina, and was a member of Hull Road Free Will Baptist Church in Arba, North Carolina, and Taylortown Community Church in Shelby, Ohio. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and siblings.
As of now, no arrests have been made, and no suspects are being sought in connection with the deaths. The investigation remains ongoing.
