On April 16, 2023, Levell Saunders, a 34-year-old man from Toledo, Ohio, was fatally shot while driving a car near the intersection of Jackman Road and Central Avenue in West Toledo. The incident also involved another victim, Taneta Waterford, 32, who was in the vehicle with Saunders at the time of the shooting.
