On July 2, 2023, 17-year-old Tireese Martin-Croom was fatally shot while seated in a Kia Forte near St. Clair Avenue and London Road in Cleveland, Ohio. Two other passengers, both 16-year-old boys, sustained gunshot wounds; one was shot in the arm, and the other in the face. Witnesses reported that a dark-colored SUV approached their vehicle, and an occupant opened fire before fleeing the scene.
