On July 15, 2023, at approximately 9 p.m., 33-year-old Rachel Daniels was fatally shot in the face in the 3500 block of East 154th Street in Cleveland's Mount Pleasant neighborhood. According to police reports, Daniels was engaged in a conversation with a 34-year-old male suspect when he allegedly shot her.
