On January 1, 2024, 27-year-old Curtis James Long of Cincinnati, Ohio, was fatally shot in Mt. Healthy. The incident occurred around 6:08 p.m. in the 7600 block of Hamilton Avenue. Despite sustaining multiple gunshot wounds, Long managed to drive himself to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Following the shooting, authorities arrested 38-year-old Aaron McFarland in connection with Long's death. McFarland was apprehended without incide ...
