On March 9, 2020, 22-year-old Abraham Penn was tragically shot and killed outside a gas station on Cleveland's east side. The incident occurred at the HP station on East 139th and Kinsman Road around 10:00 a.m. Penn was found lying in the street, while another man, 27-year-old Anthony Pruitt III, was discovered with a gunshot wound to the leg in the parking lot. Penn was pronounced dead at the scene, and Pruitt was transported to University Hospitals for treatment.
