Joseph Burley Edwards, a 48-year-old resident of New Carlisle, Ohio, was fatally shot on March 24, 2024, during a confrontation that escalated outside a home in Park Layne. The incident occurred around 9:20 PM when Edwards was involved in an argument with Glen James Sexton, a 24-year-old man from the same area. The Clark County Sheriff's Office reported that Edwards suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries approximately one hour later. ...
