On May 21, 2024, Ritchie Welch, a 51-year-old resident of Cleveland, Ohio, was tragically killed during a violent incident that unfolded over a lengthy standoff with police. The event began around 7:30 PM when law enforcement responded to reports of a shooting at a residence near East 154th Street and Hampstead Avenue.
