On May 22, 2024, 16-year-old Deante Johnson was fatally shot in a residence on Shaftesbury Road in Dayton, Ohio. The incident also claimed the lives of 32-year-old Precious Taste and her unborn child. Dayton police responded to reports of gunfire around 6:20 a.m. and discovered the victims inside the home.
