On May 24, 2024, deputies from the Fairfield County Sheriff's Office responded to a call regarding an unresponsive male at a residence in the 8000 block of Pleasantville Road in Richland Township, Ohio. Upon arrival, Thorn Township medics pronounced 25-year-old Bradd E. Johnson Jr. deceased. Investigators determined that Johnson had sustained a gunshot wound, leading authorities to classify the case as a homicide.
