On May 30, 2024, at approximately 10:55 p.m., Cincinnati police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 3300 block of Reading Road in the Avondale neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered 37-year-old Demetrius Terrell Fain outside, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts by the Cincinnati Fire Department, Fain was pronounced dead at the scene.
