On August 18, 2024, a tragic incident occurred at a Shell gas station located in the 4100 block of West Third Street in Dayton, Ohio. Raheem Smith, a 43-year-old man, lost his life in a shooting that took place just before 7 p.m. The Montgomery County Coroner's Office later identified Smith as the victim of this fatal encounter.
