On September 14, 2024, at approximately 12:45 p.m., Dayton police responded to reports of a shooting near Delphos Carryout on West Third Street. Upon arrival, officers found 52-year-old Jason Marshall deceased at the scene. A second victim, a 50-year-old man, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The Dayton Police Department's Homicide Unit is actively investigating the incident. As of now, no arrests have been made, and authorit ...
