Authorities are investigating her death as a homicide and believe it was not a random incident. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
Born on October 26, 1977, to Richard and Opal Griffin, LaTeisa was a dedicated wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was actively involved in her community, serving as the Chairperson for Ladies of Victory at Ebenezer Assembly of Christ, and worked as a contract analyst for the county. LaTeisa enjoyed cooking for her family and taking her granddaughter to dance classes. Her sudden passing has left a significant void in the lives of her loved ones.
In the wake of this tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign was established to assist LaTeisa's family with funeral expenses, monthly bills, and relocation costs, as they face the financial burden of having to split up and relocate quickly.
