On April 3, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in southeast Albuquerque, New Mexico, resulting in the death of 31-year-old Monique Garcia. The shooting took place around 1 p.m. near Zuni and Ortiz Drive S.E., where an argument broke out at an apartment complex.

The incident involved 44-year-old Kristina Withrow and her 18-year-old son, Kristian Crespin. According to police reports, Withrow had an argument with Garcia at her apartment and told her to leave. Withrow then grabbed a gun and han ...
