On October 18, 2023, Santiago Roybal, a 19-year-old resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was fatally shot at an apartment complex located at 3210 Tulane Drive NE. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. when Roybal was chased up the stairs of the complex and sought refuge in a friend's apartment.
