In the early hours of April 29, 2024, the life of 34-year-old Hispanic male Steven Sanchez was tragically cut short in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Police were called to a residence on the 1900 block of Princess Jeanne Drive around 3:30 a.m. following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Sanchez in a backyard shed with a fatal gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene, just one day after his 34th birthday.
