On July 25, 2024, a tragic incident unfolded in the small community of Chamisal, Taos County, New Mexico, resulting in the deaths of Ruben Martinez, 69, and Faith Flores, 14. The New Mexico State Police responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 8 p.m. that evening.
