In the pre-dawn hours of December 27, 2023, Jerry Lopez, a 39-year-old Hispanic male, left his Las Vegas home for his job as a driver for a medical linen supply company. A devoted husband and father to seven children, six of whom were adopted from the foster care system, he had recently received a promotion and was proud of his new role as a Customer Advocate.
