On January 8, 2024, Shellby Marie Trettel, a 22-year-old woman from Cloquet, Minnesota, tragically lost her life in a shooting incident at the Super 8 hotel where she worked. Shellby, who had been employed at the hotel since she was 16, was working as a front desk representative when the incident occurred.
