On February 18, 2024, in Elbow Lake, Minnesota, 33-year-old Stephen Erik Grytdahl was fatally shot. His younger brother, 30-year-old Connor Bruce Grytdahl, was arrested in connection with the incident. Authorities received a 911 call from Connor around 11:20 p.m., during which he reported shooting his brother. Upon arrival, deputies detained Connor and found Stephen deceased at the scene.
