Christopher Darnell Thurmond, a 32-year-old resident of Maplewood, Minnesota, tragically lost his life on July 14, 2024, in a shooting incident in Minneapolis. The incident occurred around 9:45 p.m. in the 2500 block of Central Avenue NE, just north of Lowry Avenue. Thurmond was found by police officers with life-threatening gunshot wounds and was immediately transported to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
