In the early morning hours of July 24, 2024, a fatal encounter unfolded in a parking lot in Moorhead, Minnesota, leaving 37-year-old Franky Torres, a male construction worker, with a critical head injury from which he would not recover. Responding to a report of a shooting at approximately 3:20 a.m. in the 900 block of 18th Street South, Moorhead Police officers discovered Torres, who was immediately transported to Sanford Medical Center. He succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital. ...
