On January 28, 2024, 14-year-old Claude Julius Hodges Jr. of Wichita, Kansas, was tragically shot and killed. Authorities believe his mother, 43-year-old Kylee R. Hodges, was responsible for his death. The incident began when Claude's father contacted the Wichita Police Department, concerned after failing to reach his son.
