In the early morning hours of May 19, 2024, the life of Kirk Stanley, a 46-year-old White/Caucasian male from Valley Center, Kansas, was tragically cut short. Police responded to a 911 call from his rural home on North West Street shortly before 2 a.m. and found him suffering from a single gunshot wound to his upper body. Emergency services transported Stanley to a nearby hospital, but his injury proved to be fatal.
