On February 19, 2023, 19-year-old white male Ashton Elijah Money, a resident of Broussard, Louisiana, was fatally shot in a residence located in the 3400 block of General Patton Street in Iberia Parish. Originally from Morgan City, Louisiana, Ashton was known for his lighthearted nature, strong work ethic, and deep affection for his family and friends.
