On Saturday, April 1, 2023, just after 3:00 p.m., a tragic incident occurred in the 200 block of Keene Street in Lake Providence, East Carroll Parish, Louisiana. The Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations Monroe Field Office (LSP MFO) was requested by the East Carroll Sheriff’s Office (ECSO) to investigate a homicide that resulted in the deaths of two individuals.
