On a day meant for celebration, Easter Sunday, the community of Ringgold, Louisiana, was shaken by a sudden act of violence that claimed the life of a young man. Javoksi Jackson, a 21-year-old male, was at an apartment complex on April 9, 2023, when the sound of gunfire shattered the peace of the evening. A vehicle drove by the residence and unleashed a hail of at least twenty bullets, striking the building and fatally wounding Jackson.
