In the vibrant city of New Orleans, a tragedy unfolded on the evening of April 28th, during the first weekend of Jazzfest. Hilbert Walker III, a 23-year-old man, was diligently working his shift as a waiter at the iconic Mandina's Restaurant in Mid-City. As he was waiting on tables outside the establishment, his life was abruptly cut short in a hail of gunfire.
