Jairiah Joseph Hamilton, a 37-year-old resident of Shreveport, Louisiana, but working in Bossier City, lost his life to gun violence on May 2, 2023. The incident occurred during an armed robbery at a Valero convenience store in Bossier City. During the robbery, the perpetrator shot and killed Hamilton, who was working as the store clerk, as well as a customer, 47-year-old Joshua Ryan Calk.
