In the late hours of a Wednesday in August 2023, a domestic situation in Heflin, Louisiana, turned fatal, ending the life of Tyrone Winzer. Just after midnight, the Webster Parish Sheriff's Office received a call reporting a disturbance. When deputies arrived, they found that Winzer, a male, had been shot and killed.

The investigation into the shooting quickly led to a suspect who lived across the street from Winzer. A 23-year-old woman named Chandrika C. Shehee was identified by two witn ...
