In the late summer of 2023, the Hollygrove neighborhood of New Orleans was rocked by a shooting that claimed the life of a young man. Brennan Mitchell, a 27-year-old male, was identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner's Office as the victim of this tragic event. On the evening of Thursday, August 31, 2023, the New Orleans Police Department was alerted to a call of a person down in the 3100 block of Hollygrove Street.
