In the quiet community of Scott, Louisiana, the life of 31-year-old Alexis Notto, a beloved mother and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse, was tragically cut short on the evening of May 9, 2024. As she was preparing for work, she was shot and killed, an act of violence that unfolded in front of her two older children. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Rendezvous Road, where deputies from the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office responded to a distress call.
