Death by Force

Malik King Veal, a 28-year-old African American male from New Orleans, Louisiana, was fatally shot on October 27, 2024. The incident occurred in the Algiers neighborhood, specifically in the 3200 block of General De Gaulle Drive. Responding officers found Mr. Veal inside a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound. Emergency Medical Services pronounced him dead at the scene. The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
