Malik King Veal, a 28-year-old African American male from New Orleans, Louisiana, was fatally shot on October 27, 2024. The incident occurred in the Algiers neighborhood, specifically in the 3200 block of General De Gaulle Drive. Responding officers found Mr. Veal inside a vehicle with an apparent gunshot wound.
