On a tragic Friday in Glasgow, Kentucky, the life of 35-year-old Roger Lee Noland Jr., a White/Caucasian male, was cut short on February 10, 2023. The Scottsville resident, a man known for his skills as a carpenter and his love for baseball, had traveled to Glasgow with his fiancée. The purpose of their visit was to allow his fiancée's children to see their father, James E. Campbell.

A verbal altercation erupted between Noland and Campbell. As the argument escalated, Campbell allegedly discharged a firearm, striking Noland.
