In the small community of Lebanon, Kentucky, the life of Kaitlyn Marie Wise, a 29-year-old Caucasian woman, was tragically cut short. On February 13, 2023, she was discovered deceased inside a residence on Harrison Street, having suffered from multiple gunshot wounds. The news of her violent death sent ripples of grief and shock through her family and the local community. A mother of two young sons, Kaitlyn was remembered as a loving individual with a vibrant personality, leaving behind a void in the lives of those who knew her. She was a 2011 graduate of Marion County High school and a former employee of TG KY.

The investigation into her murder was launched by the Kentucky State Police, who processed the scene and began the arduous task of piecing together the events that led to her death. For over a year, the case remained at the forefront of the community's thoughts as they awaited answers and justice for Kaitlyn. The investigation was led by Detective Josh Dicken, and authorities urged anyone with information to come forward to assist in solving the crime that had shaken the quiet town.

A significant breakthrough in the case came more than a year later, on May 12, 2024, with the arrest of 23-year-old Dailin Marquez Brown-Graves. He was indicted by a grand jury and taken into custody, bringing a sense of hope to those mourning Kaitlyn's loss. Brown-Graves has been charged with murder, first-degree burglary, and first-degree robbery. He has entered a plea of not guilty to the charges brought against him. The case is set to be tried in Marion County, where the community continues to grapple with the tragedy and awaits the conclusion of the legal proceedings.
