In the pre-dawn hours of a Tuesday in August, the quiet of a home on Hourigan Lane in Lebanon, Kentucky, was shattered by violence. It was there that Stephanie Keeling, a 48-year-old White/Caucasian woman, was shot and killed in what authorities would later describe as a targeted home invasion. The incident, which occurred on August 19, 2025, prompted a swift response from law enforcement after the Marion County Sheriff's Office requested assistance from the Kentucky State Police around 4:15 a.m.
Investigators arriving at the scene discovered that intruders had forced their way into the residence, holding the occupants at gunpoint. During the course of the home invasion, Stephanie Keeling was fatally shot. The focus of the intruders appeared to be a safe within the home. Information about a vehicle seen leaving the area was quickly disseminated to surrounding law enforcement agencies, leading to a critical break in the case.
Within hours, officers from the Bardstown Police Department spotted the suspect vehicle on U.S. 150 in the neighboring Nelson County. A traffic stop was executed, and all four individuals believed to be involved in the deadly home invasion were taken into custody. The swift arrests brought a sense of relief to the community, as authorities announced there was no ongoing threat to public safety.
The four suspects were identified as 32-year-old Tyler Gunn of Lebanon, 36-year-old Joshua Spalding-Wells of Springfield, 21-year-old Faith Singer of Bardstown, and 18-year-old Allison Lyvers of Holy Cross. Tyler Gunn was charged with murder and first-degree robbery. The other three suspects, Spalding-Wells, Singer, and Lyvers, were all charged with complicity to murder and first-degree robbery. The investigation revealed that the vehicle used during the incident belonged to Faith Singer. According to court documents, surveillance footage showed Gunn and Spalding-Wells breaking into the home and holding the occupants at gunpoint. It is alleged that Gunn was the one who pulled the trigger. Authorities also indicated that Keeling and Gunn were acquaintances.
