In the late evening hours of August 15, 2023, in Louisville's Russell neighborhood, a burst of violence shattered the night and ended a life. Terrez L. Cureton, a 31-year-old man, was in a parking lot at the corner of South 26th and Market Streets when he was struck by gunfire.
