In the small community of Stamping Ground, Kentucky, the life of 36-year-old Jesse Lewis Thompson was cut short on a Friday afternoon in late December. On December 29, 2023, authorities from the Scott County Sheriff's Office received a call and responded to a residence on U.S. 227. Upon their arrival at approximately 3:43 p.m., they discovered that Jesse Thompson had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
