In the quiet hills of Cowan, Kentucky, a community was shaken by the tragic death of Angela Jeanette Roberts. On the evening of March 7, 2024, the 58-year-old woman was discovered unresponsive in her car near a cemetery on Dinah Blair Hollow Road. Law enforcement and medical personnel who responded to a 911 call found that she had sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The Letcher County Coroner pronounced her deceased at the scene, and her death was immediately treated as a homicide.
