On March 17, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in the early morning hours in the Cloverleaf neighborhood of southwest Louisville, Kentucky. The victim, identified as 20-year-old Darryl A. Malone, was shot and later died from his injuries. The incident was reported around 12:45 a.m. in the 2800 block of De Mel Avenue, where Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) were dispatched but found no victim at the scene.
