Born on April 17, 1982, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Ellis and Sandra Johnson McClure, Eugene developed a deep love for the outdoors early in life. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting, but his true passion was turkey hunting, a pursuit he eagerly engaged in whenever possible.
