A 47-year-old Black male, Takieo L. Thomas, was found deceased on May 16, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky. His death was the result of a shooting, and his body was discovered inside a gazebo at Petersburg Park in the Newburg neighborhood. Known to his friends and family as 'TK,' Thomas was a Louisville native who had previously been reported missing in November 2022, though he was later found safe.
