In the quiet community of Eubank, Kentucky, a grim discovery was made on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at a residence on Sandidge Spur. Deputies from the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office, responding to a report of gunshot victims around 6 p.m., found the bodies of 57-year-old Dennis E. Mullins and his younger brother, Anthony Mullins, who was 55. Both men, who were white, had succumbed to fatal gunshot injuries by the time law enforcement arrived at the scene.
The investigation into the double
homicide quickly led authorities to a single suspect: Dennis's own son, Brandon Mullins. A warrant was issued for the arrest of the 26-year-old Lincoln County resident. The University of Kentucky Police located and apprehended Brandon Mullins, who was subsequently charged with the murder of his father and his uncle.
Following his arrest, Brandon Mullins was transported to the Pulaski County Detention Center, where he was held on a $1 million bond.
