Anthony Mullins, a 55-year-old male, and his brother, Dennis 'Ed' Mullins, were found deceased at a residence on Sandidge Spur on May 25, 2024. Both men had suffered fatal gunshot wounds. Anthony, born on July 29, 1968, in Hamilton, Ohio, was known for his enjoyment of fishing and woodworking.
Pulaski County Sheriff's deputies responded to a call concerning gunshot
victims at approximately 6 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered the bodies of Anthony and Dennis Mullins. The investigation into the double homicide quickly led to a suspect, Brandon Mullins, the 26-year-old son of Dennis and nephew of Anthony.
A warrant was issued for Brandon Mullins's arrest on two counts of murder. He was subsequently located and arrested by the University of Kentucky Police before being transported to the Pulaski County Detention Center. His bond was set at $1 million. The investigation is being handled by the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office's Criminal Investigations Division and the Pulaski County Coroner's Office.
